In a shocking incident, a 14-year-old girl passed away after spraying a deodorant. Although it may appear like a very normal practice, doctors said that the girl suffered from a cardiac arrest after she accidentally inhaled aerosol. Giorgia Green, who was otherwise perfectly healthy and fit, had sprayed a deodorant in her bedroom. The girl had also never been seriously ill – and after the incident, she was found dead in her room by her mother. Giorgia had autism and her father revealed that she liked to spray deodorants on blankets as she found the fragrance comforting, it helped her feel calm and relaxed. Experts say that spreading awareness about the same and propagating safe use can help limit such incidents significantly.
