Lovepreet Singh Toofan, who was arrested on February 18 by Punjab's Ajnala Police on charges of rioting and kidnapping, was discharged today after pro-Khalistan leader Amritpal Singh and his supporters stormed the police station on Thursday. Amritpal Pal Singh and his supporters submitted evidence to the police and claimed that Toofan was not present in Ajnala when the alleged incident took place.
